What are you worth?
Are you worth someone checking up on? Are you worth random sweet texts? Are you worth a birthday gift? Are you worth more than an ordinary friend to someone? What is your worth to someone. Do you ever feel someone isn't treating you the same way you do? Do you think maybe you worth someone's attention and they aren't delivering? Or is it a school thing? Your grades aren't matching your efforts? Your lecturer is being unhelpful? Well then, I've got news for you.
When you realize someone is giving you less of what you deserve and it's causing you to be sad and discouraged or some kind of disappointment, best is move on. Sounds pretty easy right? Sure is.
Your selfworth is very important because it is from there you build confidence. I know this because I've been there and done that. If you think shitty of yourself, everyone else would see you for the shitty person you are. Whatever you think of yourself is what others would think of you.
Now, friends are an important factor in this topic. Friends have the tendencies to shut down one's self esteem by dashing out hurtful compliments as a joke or humiliating you in public and tag it as a prank. My dear it is left to you how you react in a case like this but if it makes you feel any less of what you think of yourself, I suggest You change it for them. 😑😑
I personally think highly of myself, I really don't care what your opinion is on how I live my life. Any person coming short of my standards would take a dip and get lost cause that's what I have set for myself and it keeps me on tract. No one is perfect but that doesn't stop you from perfecting your imperfections.
Ask yourself what you want,
Ask yourself what you need,
Ask yourself if your are being treated the way you want,
Are your friends telling you the truth or turned you to their private clown,
Ask yourself what your worth is,
Do this and work on them. You are very smart and I'm sure you've got this.
Stay motivated
